Trailblazer:

If most of these characteristics apply to (but don’t define) you, I recommend the option of $525 or $175/month for 3 months.

• Experience housing instability, immigration & incarceration barriers, unemployment, or underemployment.

• Have debt or financial stress that frequently prevents you from meeting your and your family’s basic needs.

• Receive public assistances (i.e., food stamps)

• Have very limited access to disposable income and savings.

Cycle Breaker:

If most of these characteristics apply to (but don’t define) you, I recommend the option of $825 or $275/month for 3 months.

• Rent your home, have completed high school or college, have access to healthcare and employment.

• Have citizenship or documentation of your permanent residence in your country.

• Have debt or financial stress but it often doesn’t prevent you from meeting your and your family’s basic needs.

• Have some access to disposable income and savings.

Generation Mender:

If most of these characteristics apply to (but don’t define) you, I recommend the option of $1350 or $450/month for 3 months.

• Own your home, have completed high school or college, have access to healthcare and employment.

• Have citizenship or documentation of your permanent residence in your country.

• Can meet your and your family’s basic needs comfortably and can take time off work without much financial burden.

• Have access to disposable income, savings, investment, and retirement accounts.

 

Or Pay-What-You-Can:

If you’re ready to invest in your parenting potential, move at the pace of capacity not capitalism’s productivity, there’s a few spots per cohort for the pay-what-you-want option.

No dollar amount is the right one, except the one that feels true and fair for your context in this moment (from $0 to full price minus one dollar).
